Watch your words
Your words are you wand You are writing you own book and co creator of your life
I teach and say this all the time, both to myself and to my students.
I had recently spent a weekend with Manin, one of my wonderful and gifted teachers at an energy workshop. Spirit, god, whatever name you chose, had been trying to get my attention for a while about something and I had not been listening nor paying attention.
The drive home was about five hours and I sat up front. Animals are something I love and I pay close attention to always. I believe, at times, that animals are sometimes smarter than us. Since I had awoken that morning I had been receiving signs from the animals. I wouldn't see just one North Carolina chick-a-dee; instead I would see three or four of whatever the animal was.
The van of people I was riding with, and even myself, started to laugh about it. Then I become a bit tired of it and so I said, " I don't care if a I never ever see another animal". Manin looked at me and said "Watch your words." I laughed.
I have to tell you that when I got in my car to drive home one hour away, I saw absolutely no animals.
I saw no animals the next morning and I listened and looked and there were none.
I told spirit that life was lonely and no fun without animals.
Most of all it was lonely and empty---I didn't even see an ant.
I spoke with Spirit about this a lot and I even told Manin about it.
Late that evening at dark, I began to hear and see some animals and I told spirit I was grateful;
full of gratitude. That taught me:
1. Watch my words
2. The world is a lonely place without our animal teachers and friends.
We need each other.
Lesson learned
Thank you great Spirit
