THE RUN FOR FORWARD MOTION: WARRIOR PART ONE

I THINK TO MYSELF:

  • WHERE AM I GOING?
  • WHAT AM I DOING?
  • WHY DOES IT MATTER?
  • WHO CARES ABOUT HOW I FEEL?
  • HOW DO I MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
  • HOW DO I GET THERE FROM HERE?
  • 1. I am going to move forward with my life and my skills. Maybe I don’t yet know “where” I’m going exactly, but I know and trust that I will. “Where” I am going is going to be beneficial to me and to others. I am moving forward heading toward the target. The target is peace and happiness.

    2. Right now, I am sitting here feeling many emotions. I don’t really feel like talking much to anyone about them. I have been a warrior. A warrior works from within. I know that I can change how I am feeling and where I am going with the strength of my mind, because it is strong. I have been a warrior of war. I now want to be a warrior for peace. Peace of mind, peace in my heart, peace in my soul. The anger I feel is wasted energy. This energy I could put to good use if I just knew how to turn it around and control the flow of it better. THIS IS WHERE I AM RUNNING.

    3. This matters because I am worthy and I indeed want to maintain peace in my mind in order to be happy with life itself at this point. Maybe they tried to make me not feel good about myself for whatever reason they may have had. But I am worthy and deserving of whatever my heart’s desire is. It matters because I am proud and have honor. These are the things I must remember when I am feeling beaten or down. I am worthy. I am deserving. I am proud. I do have honor and dignity.

    4. Who cares how I feel? The list is endless if I look at it in truth. I have friends and family and co-workers and strangers that don’t even know my name. They just know I was there to do the job. The person teaching this class cares and the people who made this class possible care.

    5. I make a difference in the way I present myself to others. I make a difference when “I” reach out my hand or heart to understanding and listening to someone who feels lost. I make a difference because I understand. I make a difference because I do trust myself. If I can show I trust myself, then they will trust me and begin to trust themselves and others. I make a big difference.

    6. I get there from here by setting a goal within my own mind and pushing forward to that goal. I push with my mind. I am moving forward to make a difference in myself and in others and to create one more soul that is/was warrior looking for peace in my heart. I am at this class. This is a good beginning if I allow it to be.

    Here is a meditation to do that will be a good beginning:

    Close your eyes and relax. Clear your head of all the chatter. If the chatter comes sneaking in, toss it out and remain focused on creating a clear mind.

    Imagine that you see yourself laying on a float in some beautiful crystal blue water. Feel the sun warm on you. It’s warmth is moving inside you and filling up your entire body. It continues to run up and down your body. It’s then you feel the breeze. The breeze is ever so gentle. Floating, sun warming you with a slight breeze gently blowing across your body. Free. Peaceful. Serene.

    It’s then, with your eyes still closed, you take that warm feeling flowing over you with the breeze and within you and you begin to realize you can move that wonderful feeling of freedom and peacefulness and serenity anywhere inside and outside your body. You decide to bring in colors with your eyes still closed. Each color you imagine will run from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet. Feel the color.

    You see blue and realize this color makes you feel calm. Let it resonate within you. You can bring any color into your mind and do the same thing with it.
    Red will bring you energy if you are feeling tired.
    Pink will make you feel loving and peaceful.
    Yellow makes you feel happy and carefree like you were as a child. Let it flow within and across you.
    Green will heal the hurts. Let it flow as many times as you like. Allowing it to stop at any point it needs to as many times as it needs to.

    Use the color chart below, so you can do this when you want to.

    Orange=Energy, Peace
    Yellow=Happiness, Peace
    Green=Healing, Growth
    Blue=Spirituality, Peace
    Violet,Purple,Lavendar=Wisdom, knowledge
    Pink=Love
    White=Truth,purity
    Brown=Grounding
    Gold=Christ Light
    Silver=Spiritual protection

    This class may seem elementary or silly or not worthwhile, but, it is very important for a new beginning in your life. There will be a series of these classes, as we get more in depth and working toward your goal and how to get you there.
